50 & Fab!

Christmas has come and gone. . .craft shows are done for awhile. . .and a new year is upon us. For those of us "of a certain age", that age is the big five-oh! Many in my circle will reach that milestone in 2010, and a few have blazed the trail already. One was a former coworker whose surprise party I attended in December. No black balloons for her--just this kitty pin to help her show the world what she's made of!

For anyone wondering, I will reach my milestone in April, so you have four months to come up with a fabulous gift!

Old Town Underground cancelled

After just posting yesterday about the Old Town Underground Artists' Market , I received a message early this morning that the market for today has been cancelled. I'm not sure how and why a show gets cancelled at the last minute in December, the best time of year for us crafty types, but that is the information I received. I apologize if anyone makes the trip over there for nothing today.

I'll be doing a home show next weekend...not my home, but an in-home show. Details are forthcoming in my next post!

Good grief, it's almost Christmas!

Oh my goodness...I can't believe how long it's been since my last post! The month of November went by in a flash (I know, I know...I say that at the beginning of every new month...), and I have been neglectful of my poor blog. But I've been BUSY--busy with the PCC Challenge in November, busy in the studio--and now busy with Christmas shopping, too! I have lots of cool stuff to talk about, when I get time to sit down and write, but in the meantime, it's almost the first Sunday of December, and that means it's Old Town Underground time again. There's detailed information about what and where it is in my October 1 post. Tomorrow, Sunday is the date, noon until 5 is the time, and 708 E. Grand River in Lansing is the place. C'mon out and find some one-of-a-kind holiday gifts!
